Hilary is an experienced facilitator with a deep understanding of anti-oppressive work and a passion for collective liberation. Hilary works at the University of Calgary as an instructor in the Gender and Sexuality Studies. Additionally, Hilary works full-time in the anti-violence sector, where they support individuals impacted by GBV, while also working to dismantle the attitudes and beliefs that people hold to create a space free from oppression. Hilary holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Calgary in Gender and Sexuality Studies, and a Master's in Social Studies with a specialization in International and community development. Community care is at the heart of everything Hilary does, and in their spare time, she spends it with her partner, fur babies and chosen family.

Artie is a passionate advocate for community liberation and structural change toward social justice. They have a background in gender-based violence prevention and support with a focus on systemic violence rooted in transphobia and homophobia. Artie holds a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work, but most importantly, they centre their personal, professional, and creative works around trans and queer joy. Artie has spent the last three years building and celebrating the robust drag and queer performance scene in Alberta, and focuses much of his creative muse on trans representation.

Kam is a dedicated social worker committed to creating safer, more affirming communities for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals. As a trans man with a strong background in frontline support, education, and advocacy for transgender people, Kam brings both lived experience and professional expertise to his work. He holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Mount Royal University and a Social Work Diploma from Bow Valley College. Whether providing one-on-one support or contributing to broader collective efforts, Kam leads with empathy, integrity, and an unwavering belief in the power of Queer Joy as a form of resistance and resilience.

We are a queer-led consulting collective founded by three social workers committed to transformative education, community care, and collective liberation. Grounded in trans and queer theories, feminist frameworks, and anti-oppressive practice, our work centers the lived experiences of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities while addressing the systemic roots of gender-based violence.
Our offerings are rooted in a deep belief that meaningful inclusion, equity, and diversity cannot be achieved without dismantling oppressive systems and cultivating spaces of safety, accountability, and connection. We collaborate with organizations, institutions, and communities to provide training, consultation, and workshops that move beyond checkboxes toward real change that is relational, reflexive, and rooted in justice.

We offer policy consultation to organizations, institutions, and communities seeking to create safer, more inclusive environments, particularly for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and those impacted by gender-based and sexualized violence. Our approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in anti-oppressive practice.
What We Offer:

This three-hour workshop provides participants with the tools to understand, support, and respond to gender-based violence within the 2slgbtqqia+ community. Grounded in an intersectional and trauma-informed framework, this session explores how gender-based and sexualized violence manifests in 2slgbtqqia+ communities, the unique challenges, and how to foster safety and inclusion through collective liberation models of prevention.

Grounded in an intersectional and trauma-informed practice, this session explores how individuals can navigate the challenging realities of handling disclosures of gender-based violence positively.

This three-hour workshop equips participants with the knowledge and practical tools to foster queer-inclusive environments in their communities, workplaces, or classrooms. Grounded in intersectional and anti-oppressive frameworks, this session explores how to recognize and challenge heteronormativity and cisnormativity while uplifting 2SLGBTQIA+ voices and experiences.
